Dear friend of KHCS,
The battle over the Ten Commandments monument in
Alabama is not over yet
─ it’s just beginning!
And, yes, it’s just a battle in a larger war
instituted by anti-Christian bigots who want to remove religion and
morality from public influence.
But let’s look at the real issue here. It’s not
just about a monument. It’s about obeying the law of the land. And
whether our laws are based on the laws of God.
Detractors of Alabama’s Supreme Court Justice Roy
Moore claim that he is a lawbreaker; that the United States is supposed to
be governed by the rule of law rather than the rule of men. Yes, but,
they fail to see that it is precisely those federal judges who make up
rulings out of thin air, without reference to legal precedent or the
Constitution, who are the real lawbreakers.
They say, “He has to obey the law!” I would have
to ask ─ WHAT LAW? You know that if you get a
traffic ticket, it will show which section of the Vehicle Code you have
violated. But, which law did Judge Moore violate? Can you cite the
reference in the United States Code? The Code of Federal Regulations?
Was it 10 U.S.C. 311? Or 73 C.F.R. 11.35? Guess what
─ there is no
such law that prohibits religious displays in public places!
Moreover, the First Amendment to the Constitution
says, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of
religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. . .” Do you
see that? “Congress shall make no law. . .” If there was such a law, it
would be unconstitutional! Therefore, if there was a law, Judge
Moore could not be in violation, because it would be an illegal law!
If our country’s laws were founded on the rule of
Rex Lex (“the King is the Law”), whatever the King (judge,
whatever) decrees automatically becomes the law of the land
─ then our Biblical response would be to
submit. But, the American legal system is that of Lex Rex
─ the Law is
King! And our role is to submit to the Constitution! Not to tyrants!
Yes, tyrants who suspended a public school teacher
for wearing a cross pendant. Who cancelled a Michigan college student’s
tuition because he wanted to major in Theology. Who want you to refrain
from saying “Merry Christmas” because that is “insensitive”
─ who want Christian churches to remove crosses
from their buildings because the Cross is “offensive!”
I want to encourage you to stand up to these
anti-Christian terrorists who demand that you to step to the back of the
bus, sit down, and shut up. They tell the world that you are ignorant,
brainwashed fools. You know better. And so do I.
That’s why KHCS brings you Information and
Inspiration 24 hours a day. By keeping your dial on 91.7FM, you

P.S. On July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress
commissioned Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson to create a Great Seal
and Motto for the new United States. The Seal is enclosed, showing Moses
extending his hand over the Red Sea, and the waters overwhelming Pharaoh
and his army. I wish they had adopted the motto: REBELLION TO TYRANTS
IS OBEDIENCE TO GOD.
Let’s obey God!
